UCHIDA’s New Sheet-to-Sheet Gluer AeroBond Now Available in Japan!

AeroBond Launch Announcement

UCHIDA's new sheet-to-sheet gluer, AeroBond, has been launched in the Japanese market as of April 2026.

AeroBond is a solution that glues printed sheets together, making it possible to produce thick paper applications that are difficult to achieve with digital printers alone. By printing on paper within the printable thickness range and then gluing the sheets with AeroBond, users can create high-value printed products that go beyond the thickness limitations of their printing equipment.

As demand continues to grow for high-quality and differentiated printed products, AeroBond opens new possibilities for a wide range of applications.

In addition, glued sheets can be further processed using UCHIDA's digital die-cutting machine, AeroDieCut, allowing for even greater production flexibility.

Application Examples

Premium Business Cards and Membership Cards

By gluing printed sheets together, AeroBond creates thickness and durability that cannot be achieved with standard papers. The premium feel and presence of the finished product can help enhance brand value. Three-sheet gluing is also possible, and inserting a colored sheet in the middle can create unique visual effects and additional design appeal.

Gift Cards

AeroBond is well-suited for replacing plastic cards with paper-based alternatives, supporting sustainability initiatives. Combined with digital printing, it enables the production of personalized cards with variable data such as gift codes, barcodes, and QR codes.

Packaging
